Religious Plural Room Grand Opening

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in partnership with the Interfaith Council at Kean University welcomes all to attend the Religious Plural space grand opening event on October 30th at 3:15pm in Townsend 116.

This space is designed to foster inclusivity, reflection, and spiritual harmony for individuals of all faiths, beliefs, and practices. This serene environment is dedicated to providing students, faculty, and community members a quiet space for prayer, meditation, and contemplation, regardless of religious or spiritual background.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by guided tours of the facility, an interfaith blessing, and a brief discussion on the significance of religious pluralism in our community. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet representatives from various spiritual and student organizations, explore the room’s resources, and enjoy light refreshments.

Any questions can be directed to the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and/or Erin Lester at Erin Lester, elester@kean.edu .
